Home!

Back home again!

We arrived back in Sweden around 16:00 hours local time last night, said goodbye and went to our separate dwellings with a super exciting amusement tour behind us.

Personally I had to get in a car and drive for 3 hours to Gothenburg before I could relax and I'm just back home after the first day back at work, dead-tired and already have my sights set on the sofa tonight.

We want to thank everyone who made this tour possible and so much fun. It was an honor to be back in Japan and play and BIG BIG thanks to everyone in the audience who came to the shows. We had some of the best ones ever!!
Extra big thanks to the Shapes-guys: Gav, Rich, Stevie.
You are amazing musicians and even better persons.
You made this tour 200% super exciting amusing! We miss you so much already.

Big picture-update soon!

Japan 2009 Osaka, Nagoya

Hello.

It's about 4 - 5 in the morning and we just arrived in Tokyo aft
er a all-night drive from Nagoya.
We played at Club Quattro last night and in my
book it was one of our best shows ever!

(above: Nagoya)
We've been in Japan since early friday where
we met up with the Shapes-guys and Junki at Nar
ita Airport. Felt good and strange to recognize the airport and also to not feel so lost and overwhelmed as we all did last time. We are much more prepared this time around and it is really making a big difference.

The shows this far has been really fantastic and the whole Zankyo Festival is such an impressive arrangement. Once again we're blown away by the many many great bands that is on Zankyo's rooster and it's just a pleasure to watch every band perform.

(Above:Osaka)

There has been about 12 bands each night and every band plays for about 30 mins, except Zankyo-leader Kono's band Té who finishes of every night with spectacular performances. Hands down one of the best live-bands I think I've ever seen.

Shapes are also a fantastic band, technical, well-played, well-written balls-to-the-wall music from the first note to the last. Awesome guys too
! It feels really nice to have a fellow european band with us, since sometimes the language-barrier is too hard to cross.

Luckily we have our dear guide and tour-manager Junki who is doing and amazing job so we're not completely lost.

Tomorrow we're gonna play at the great O-East again and that is going to be massive!! Last time was crazy!

Here are some pictures, we'll upload more during (if we can find the time) and after the tour!

Lot's of love to everyone, loved and missed ones back home and to all the great fans who come to the shows!

Japan 2009!

Hey Everyone!

It's about 24 hours 'til we're in the air heading for Japan for the second time. We're super-fucking excited about this since last time was one of our best tours ever!
We've been a band for nearly 10 years now and we've had the luxury of travelling all over some parts of this great earth and meeting amazing people. We started out in a garage in a small small town in the south of Sweden and now we're spread across the land but still manage to meet up in Malmö to play and record. It's been one hell of a ride so far...we've gained and lost friends and we've hated each other at times but it's still about the most important things that our music centers; Expression, love, anxiety, jubilation, friendship.

Things are changing within the band and we'll make stuff official soon and we still have this Japan-tour and later this year a tour of Europe to blast through first before anything big occurs. You should really try to come out and see us this time tho...take that as a warning and a good advice!!!

Grand Letdown was released in Japan on 090909 and the japanese version contains 2 bonus tracks, "Drink Forever" and "Golden Times". You can get a hold of a copy through Zankyo Records.

We're so happy to be back on the road again, let's all make this fall, the fall of 2009, really count together. Show up and show your love...we will give 200% at all times. That's a promise!
